This was the most sleepless night I ever had in the past nine months but little did I suspect I was being primed for this ultimate revelation that genuine theosophists will find totally an eye-opener that all theologians had ignored consciously or otherwise for centuries. Saul of Tarsus publicly declared that he was rebelling against Judaism, went ahead to propound his own interpretations of what he felt Jesus had in mind, went on missionary journeys propagating them vigorously unperturbed by the original apostles who ate and dined with the Lord Jesus, wrote all his letters long before Matthew, Mark and John woke up from their slumber to chronicle what remained of the events in the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth. So, what is difficult in realizing that Roman Catholicism is a child of necessity to misappropriate a sectarian offshoot of JUDAISM?

Let us start the dissertation from the very beginning of Saul’s purported conversion on the religious ORDER to exterminate the members of the new religion that Jews saw and painted as rebellious in Acts 9:1-31

Verse 1. Saul's conversion is also related in Acts 22:4-16 and 26:12-18. Although Saul was born and reared in the Gentile city of Tarsus in Cilicia (22:3), he had studied in Jerusalem at the feet of Gamaliel, one of the outstanding Jewish rabbis of the day (5:34 ff.).

He was known as a brilliant student (Gal 1:14) and a zealous Pharisee (Phil 3:5). Now Saul played the role of the most zealous representive of the Jews in persecuting the church. The violence of his persecution is described in Acts 26:10-11. His aim was to compel Christians to deny their faith on penalty of imprisonment and even death. We do not know how common martyrdom was in this persecution.

Acts 9:2

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

The high priest, president of the Sanhedrin, had jurisdiction over Jews throughout Palestine. Saul secured from the priest letters of extradition to the synagogues at Damascus to bring any Christians who had fled there back to Jerusalem in bonds. There was a Jewish community in Damascus of some ten to eighteen thousand people. The Way. A phrase used to describe the Christian faith (Acts 19:9,23; 22:4; 24:14,22).

Acts 9:3-4

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

The flash of light appeared to Saul near midday (Acts 22:6; 26:13), but the light was brighter than the sun. The voice from the midst of the light spoke to Saul in the Hebrew, or Aramaic, dialect (26:14). Although most Jews who lived in the Dispersion spoke Greek, Saul's parents spoke Aramaic and taught him this language (Phil 3:5). This was the language of instruction in the rabbinic schools in Jerusalem. The voice informed Saul that in persecuting the Christians, he had been persecuting Christ.

Acts 9:5-6

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

At first Saul did not understand the meaning of this experience. He asked the identity of the voice. Lord in Greek idiom often means "sir" (Acts 16:30; 25:26); but here it indicates a reverent and awestruck response. The voice identified itself as that of the glorified Jesus. The words in the AV, It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks, are not found in this passage in the oldest Greek texts, but have been introduced here from 26:14.

Acts 9:7-8

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Saul was accompanied by a caravan. The statement in this verse that the men heard a voice but saw no one appears to contradict Acts 22:9 and 26:14, where it is said that they did not hear the voice. There are two possible solutions to this problem. The Greek construction in 9:7 is different from that in 22:9. The former statement may mean that they heard a sound and the latter verse that they did not understand its content. A second possibility is that 9:7 refers to Saul's voice speaking to the light; the men heard Saul's voice but they did not hear the voice speaking from the light to Saul (22:9).

Acts 9:9

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

The experience was so unsettling that for three days Saul could neither eat nor drink.

THE LITTLE I LEARNT OF JEWISH LAWS WHILE A SEMINARIAN REMINDS ME THAT SINCE SAUL OF TARSUS HAD NO WITNESS CORROBORATING HIS CLAIMS, ITS VERACITY WAS DOUBTFUL. ALL YOU NEED DO IS TO RE-READ THE CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE BEAUTIFUL SUSANNA BY TWO JEWISH ELDERS

AND THEN ASK YOURSELF, WAS IT THE IMAGE OF STEPHEN WHOM HE HAD JUST SUPERVISED HIS MURDER OR JESUS WHOM HE NEVER MET ALIVE THAT APPEARED TO SAUL ON THAT ROAD TO DAMASCUS. DO YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN? IN SCIENTIFIC PSYCHOLOGY, NO ONE CAN SEE A FACE HE HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN LIFE EITHER IN A DREAM OR VISION! SO, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY ALL THE SELF-REPORTS OF SAUL, e.g. THIS VERY ONE;

“9 THEN SPAKE THE LORD TO PAUL IN THE NIGHT BY A VISION, BE NOT AFRAID, BUT SPEAK, AND HOLD NOT THY PEACE:

10 FOR I AM WITH THEE, AND NO MAN SHALL SET ON THEE TO HURT THEE: FOR I HAVE MUCH PEOPLE IN THIS CITY.” ACTS 18; 9, 10.

16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. 17 Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. 18 Then certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, "What does this babbler want to say?" Others said, "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods," because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. 19 And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, "May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak? 20 For you are bringing some strange things to our ears. SAUL OF TARSUS;  A BAD APPRENTICE TO BARNABAS; VS: 39-40

3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

7 And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man's house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Acts 18:2-4

And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

Suetonius (Life of Claudius 25,4) tells us that the Jews were indulging in constant riots at the instigation "of Chrestus," and Claudius therefore banished them from Rome in A.D. 49. It is possible that Chrestus (meaning "the useful one") is a Roman misunderstanding of Christus, a term that was meaningless to Romans. If so, this means that the gospel of Christ was being preached in the Jewish synagogues in Rome and was meeting such strenuous resistance that Claudius ordered all Jews to leave the city. It is not clear whether Aquila and Priscilla (called Prisca in the epistles of Paul) were believers before they left Rome. Since nothing is said of Paul's preaching the Gospel to them, they probably had become Christians in Rome. We know nothing about the origin of the Roman church. These two Jews came to Corinth and set themselves up in their trade. 3. Tentmakers. Either manufacturers of heavy cloth from goats' hair, from which tents and other articles were made; or "leather workers" (Lake and Cadbury). It was customary for Jewish rabbis not to receive pay for their teaching, and therefore Paul, who had been reared as a rabbi, had learned the trade of tentmaking. The apostle did not at once launch into the evangelization of Corinth but joined Aquila and Priscilla in practicing his trade during the week. 4. The Sabbaths he devoted to preaching in the synagogue. An inscription has been found in Corinth dating from the early first century, which reads, "Synagogue of the Hebrews."

Acts 18:5-6

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Paul apparently planned to return from Corinth to Macedonia and continue his ministry in Thessalonica and Beroea after the arrival of Silas and Timothy. The Epistles tell us more about the movements of these two than does Acts. Paul had left them in Beroea with instructions to join him in Athens as soon as possible (Acts 17:15). They did, in fact, join Paul in Athens (1 Thess 3:1), apparently bringing word that it was not safe for him to return to Macedonia. He therefore sent Timothy back to Thessalonica and Silas to some other city in Macedonia, possibly Philippi. Now Silas and Timothy joined him again in Corinth; and when they reported that Paul could not return to Macedonia, he devoted himself with fresh vigor to the evangelization of Corinth. Pressed in the spirit, according to the best texts, should be translated either was constrained by the word, or was occupied in preaching. Paul's message was that Jesus was the Messiah.

Acts 18:7-8

Next door to the Jewish synagogue was a house owned by one Titus Justus, a Gentile "God-fearer" (cf. note on Acts 10:2) who attended the synagogue. He opened his house to Paul to preach the Gospel when the apostle left the synagogue. 8. The conversion of Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue (see 13:15) together with his family must have been a blow to the Jews and given a great impetus to Paul's mission. The baptism of Crispus is mentioned in 1 Cor 1:14.

12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

13 Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.

14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

15 But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

16 And he drave them from the judgment seat.

17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.

18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

20 When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;

21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.               KJV …….  Here I rest my case!!

It is also documented that why Saul of Tarsus put in all his energy into whatever he did was because he was born impotent! Impotence is classified as either primary or secondary. Primary impotence is expressed early in adolescence as a fundamental inability to achieve erection; secondary impotence is more common and consists of an onset of erectile inability during adulthood, after a period of normal erectile ability. This medical condition which gives a sufferer surplus time to engage vigorously in any profession he or she finds himself. Saul also referred to it in one of his epistles as a thorn the lord had given him that reminds him he is only human, which gave rise to his most famous aphorism – “NOT BY MY POWER AND NOR MIGHT BUT BY THY GRACE O LORD.”

We are in a fix to place an indigene of Tarsus whose only claim to Jewish blood was via the mother! At Damascus, Ananias who instructed him about Jesus was a Third Generation Disciple, so the zeal with which he started preaching there was inaccurate, preposterous and illegitimate. We were never told he humbly sat at the feet of Peter, James or John to receive first class instructions by those who saw, ate and drank with the Master Jesus. He felt he was more educated than them all. He disobeyed and revolted against his benefactor Barnabas, who convinced Peter et al to give him a chance and went solo. His usurpation of Roman Citizenship once found potent was trumped up again and again. His famous ‘BEHLOD I TURN TO GENTILES’ was unauthorised. He formed a sectarian faction that I label “Neo-Judeo-Christianity”, which was different from the Original Good News of Jesus. This he carried to Rome when he appealed for Roman Judiciary hearing and eventually acquiesced to Roman Emperor Constantine the Great who fell in love with a damsel under his care. I had argued in an earlier dissertation that the Council of Nicea, which deified Jesus by replacing “Mithra, the-sun-god” with “Jesus, the-son-of God” was illegal, null and void as it not attended by Peter, James nor John who were the ordained custodians of the Authentic Good News of Jesus of Nazareth… THEREFORE CURRENT DAY CHRISTENDOM WAS AND STILL A FORGERY, A COUNTERFEIT AND IS LEADING ALL TO HELL.
