NIGERIA ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES IN 1996 Both, Cross River and Rivers are Igbo areas carved out by the Northern oligarch to malign the minority ethnic groups within the region against the Igbo. “I saw the hand of Esau but heard the voice of Jacob” even as an under-aged commando soldier of the Degema Strike Force, 4th Commando Brigade, Biafra. It is the “divide and rule” policy of Britain; a diplomatic masterstroke whispered into the ears of the illegitimate military dictator in Nigeria then, to persuade the riverine peoples to sabotage the efforts at independence by Biafrans. It worked; ‘divided we fall’ was proven right! This author, “Nzeogwu the Second”, was a nineteen year old conscripted ‘ad hoc’ Sergeant in March 1968 but by sheer bravery rose by ‘bush commission’ to a Substantive Major by December 1969.

The Nigerian civil war started in 1967 when Nigeria’s Eastern Region, due to excessive pogroms unleashed on the Igbos in the north seceded and proclaimed itself the Republic of Biafra. Here, this author as a youth of nineteen years participated in the defence of Oguta, converted to a river port and used to import medical necessities as blockades by land, sea and air became a weapon of war by the Nigerian government. Starvation, hunger and disease; malnutrition, kwashiorkor, marasmus and hepatitis took their toll on children, refugees and soldiers on the Biafran side before it eventually capitulated. The brave leaders of the dislocated Biafran forces then surrendered to the Nigerian armed forces in January 1970. “Why did we lose the war of survival? Should Nigeria the aggressor defeat us the victims of their cruel and premeditated pogroms? Of what use were the prayers to a god that never answered us? Or did our leaders commit unpardonable war crimes or indulge in sacrilegious absurdities? Is the Muslim religion more authentic and reliable than Christianity? If yes, then let us join them and go on pilgrimages to Mecca!” Finding answers to these existential questions drove the young war veteran crazy. He could not comprehend how an unjust war ended in favour of the aggressors. For him it meant that we wasted all our time and youthfulness in the war fronts praying to the God of Christians! He truly deserved veritable explanations! He withdrew from all religious engagement for a period of ten consecutive years, from 1970 to 1980. That gave him enough time to reflect on some existential questions about all he had learnt from the Christian missionaries that moulded his early life in the junior and senior seminaries.

During the Nigerian civil war of 1967 to 1970, the Nigerian government imposed blockades around Biafra, effectively cutting off the secessionist state’s food supply. The resulting famine in Biafra was devastating, as upwards of one million people died of starvation. The swollen bellies and ankles of these Biafran children are symptoms of kwashiorkor, an extreme form of protein-energy malnutrition. There arose the need for him to re-evaluate his belief system, moderate his scrupulous orientation to social life and thereafter, formulate a realistic code of conduct that could guarantee his survival in the conflicting world of the Nigerian society he found himself trapped in! He lived as a war captive for the next 30 years! Within this period, he fully practised the introverted meditative lifestyle of Viktor Frankl or that detached life of a research scientist reminiscent of the great Austrian monk geneticist, MacGregor Mendel. He earned four university degrees that spanned a period of 15 years, with breaks here and there to assist his eight younger brothers and sisters, siblings of the same humble family of a school teacher/catechist! To achieve this, he again joined the armed forces of the nation he lived as an exile, the fallout of which was that he neatly sandwiched a military diploma, pjsc, from the Nigerian Air Force in between the four degrees! A bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, sponsored by the Catholic missionaries in1970, then another bachelor’s degree in Psychology, self-sponsored and partly aided by a Federal Government Loans Bursary award in 1975. This loan was later paid in full after his NYSC, which he served at the Department of Psychiatry, University College Hospital, Ibadan and Lambo’s Aro-Village System, Abeokuta from 1975- 1976! This was followed by the three-year stint as an Air Force Medical Officer, NAF 759. Upon winning the Anambra State Ph.D. Scholarship Award in 1977 he resigned in 1979 and later earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology, from the School of Medicine, University of Benin, in 1982. He rounded his training with a Doctor of Science degree in Research Psychometrics, earned by innovative researches in personality evaluation, organisational psychology and family counselling in 1993! This doctorate degree qualified him to join the prestigious African College of Research Scientists, Addis Ababa Campus, of which he is now, a Fellow! A rare feat of academic achievement for anyone to obtain through self-reliance, ingenuity and resourcefulness! 

For the next phase of his research/academic life he combined family roles and clinical duties, churning out psychological tests for guidance/career counselling, personality evaluation and marriage/family counselling. In the interim he got married and to date has two boys and a girl, who became the well-deserved consolation for his long years of ambivalence! Today he is a retired Flight Lieutenant in private clinical practice as a HUMANISTIC-EXISTENTIAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST. He still does extensive research in Family Counselling, Existential Family Therapy and Community Medicine. His published psychological tests and books exceed fifteen, as at the last count. He is a respected authority in Psychometrics, a Member of the National Association of Clinical Psychologists and the Founder/Animator of three world-wide NGOs; i. KENEZ HEALTH KLINIK, an Interdisciplinary Therapeutic Organisation for Family Health, ii. HAPPY FAMILY NETWORK an Inter-ethnic CBO for grooming healthy & successful families, iii. INTEGRATIONAL SPIRITAN MOVEMENT, a Spiritual Fellowship for Modern Scientists! The greatest contribution he has made so far seems to be in the area of family counselling and existential therapy where he has developed, constructed, validated and standardised more than thirteen psychological tests for school career guidance, pre-marital counselling and crises intervention in families that need help! In addition, he has written nine books covering such areas of knowledge as: social ethics, theosophy, cosmology, social and community medicine. The manuscripts of these inspirational works are, in the real sense of the phrase, begging for funds to print them. Can anyone publish these books so that others may benefit from the information stashed away in them? His religious involvement in early life became an asset as this book in moral ethics has turned out to be the best outcome of his contemplative lifestyle. Below are some of the verses he wrote that kept him mentally alive and hopeful that his children would have a better future! You may benefit from reading and practising some of them in your daily living! There are existential truths rather than theological jargons! Establishment of Universal Truths and control of one’s tongue and selfless service summarises ISM. Double-faced Christians now abound everywhere; they worship Satan at night and come to church on Sundays! This lifestyle has eroded the credentials of our forebears! There is now, an urgent need to redeem our children from these nefarious practices! In your Infinite Wisdom and Love you have created me for a purpose, Permit me to understand and fulfil the mission you have assigned me, May your Holy Spirit guide me to accomplish it in my short span of life. My Eternal Creator and Lord of the universe, I know that you exist, I observe also that all beings are interdependent, we need each other, Therefore, increase my loyalty and dependence on your benevolence.    This is the record of John. The writer now plunges at once into his history. He passes by the childhood of the Lord, John's ministry, and comes at once to the time when Jesus, thirty years old, is acknowledged by the Father as the Son of God.

  When the Jews sent priests and Levites. The Jewish rulers, the Sanhedrin, the court or parliament of seventy-one members who ruled Israel. The delegation sent to John was official. His preaching in the wilderness of Jordan had stirred the whole land, and they were sent to ascertain his character. Matthew, Mark, and Luke use the term Jews very seldom [sixteen times], John often [seventy times], a proof that he wrote far away from Palestine and for Gentiles.

Some conjectured that John was the expected Christ; others that he was Elijah who was first to come (Mal 4:5); others that he was "that prophet," the one predicted by Moses (De 18:15); but he declared that he was none of these.    Why baptizest thou then? If he were Christ, or Elias, or "that prophet," they could understand why he should establish a new religious rite, but if none of these, why should he do so? Their perplexity shows that the baptismal rite was new to them. There is no proof that Jewish proselyte baptism of Gentile converts existed at this period, save the assertion of the Talmud, written two or three centuries after this. Josephus, who wrote in the time of the apostles, is silent about it.

   The next day John seeth Jesus. Here Jesus first appears, in person, in John's account, who omits all the details given by Matthew and Luke of his earlier life. He was now thirty years old, and came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized of John. This interview was after the baptism (Joh 1:33), and probably after the Temptation.

  Behold the Lamb of God. Innocent like the lamb, to be offered as a lamb, "led as a lamb to the slaughter" (Isa 53:7). The lamb was commonly used as a sin offering (Le 4:32), and when John points to Jesus as "the" Lamb of God he can only mean that God had provided him as a sacrificial offering.

  The sin of the world. Not of Jews only, but of Gentiles. John points to Jesus as the world's Savior.

   Again the next day after, John stood, and two of his disciples. In Joh 1:19-28, the account is given of the visit of the priests and Levites, sent by the Sanhedrin to John. "The next day" after this, John sees Jesus and points him out as the Lamb of God, giving a discourse of which, in Joh 1:19-34, we have a synopsis. On the "next day" after this, the third day after the deputation of the Sanhedrin, and the second after the return of Jesus from the wilderness, John stood with two of his disciples. One of these two, we learn from Joh 1:40, was Andrew; the other, we have reason to believe, was John, the apostle.

   Philip findeth Nathanael. As we learn from Joh 21:2, Nathanael was a Galilean, his home being at "Cana in Galilee." His name only occurs in these two places. He is supposed to have been one of the Twelve, the same one mentioned in the other Gospels as Bartholomew [Mt 10:3; Mr 3:18; Lu 6:14], which means "son of Tolmai." The use of the name in Joh 21:2 favors this hypothesis.

  We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write. There was only one to whom this could refer, "The prophet like unto Moses" (De 34:10; Ac 3:22; 7:37), the Messiah; and when Philip names Jesus of Nazareth, Nathanael is at once skeptical whether the Messiah could come out of Nazareth, an insignificant and despised place.

   Whence knowest thou me? Nathanael, who had never met Jesus before, was surprised to hear himself spoken of as one known.

  When thou wast under the fig tree. There was something about this answer that filled Nathanael with astonishment. Under the shade and shelter of the fig tree he had some rare experience that is not recorded, and that he supposed unknown to man. That Jesus knew of it and read his soul startled him and dissipated his unbelief.

 Ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending. Jacob, old Israel, in his dream at Bethel, saw the ladder that reached to heaven with the angels upon it
(Ge 28:12). Christ is that ladder, the way from earth to heaven, the way heaven sends messages to the world and the way we must go to reach it. Nathanael would be permitted to see that Jesus was the Mediator, that through him the Father speaks to man; that through him there is intercommunication between earth and heaven.

Based on what historians have written on the emergence of religions, this author has observed that there is no semblance of religious freedom or independence in most communities and organisations all over the world. • Jesus Declared In Plain Language That He Was Only A Prophet And The Son Of The Man Joseph, So Why Was The Universal Idolatry Of Deifying Him By Constantine The Great, A Pagan Emperor, Accepted By The Early Church Fathers? Did Jesus Need To Equate Himself to His Own Father?
• Jesus was a prophet adopted and anointed by the Almighty Creator through the hands of John the Baptist. He was the first-born son of Joseph/Mary, the Carpenter and he had four junior brothers and un-named number of sisters. He was purely human. He never claimed divinity. He declared that he was the Son of Man and finally in the Gospel of Matthew 13:57, he unequivocally affirmed that he was just a prophet. So, why deify him?

THEOSOPHICAL MICRODIAGNOSIS

Current day uninformed fanatics of the Roman brand of Christianity concocted by Roman Emperor Constantine and Saul of Tarsus that were ratified by the Council of Nicea must open their eyes that had/has been partially blinded for centuries by fables, legends, theories, doctrines and dogmas conceived, developed, nurtured and patented in Rome that they were forced to swallow as infants in catechism classes!

I am not a disciple of Karl Marx but I can recognise the truth whenever, wherever and however it is told in a simple language. Present-day Christians can be compared to drug dependents hypnotised with doctrines/dogmas or to healthy human beings who prefer to walk around on orthopaedic clutches whereas their feet are 100% okay! It is pure stagnation of the freedom to think independently as Homo sapiens. It is a universal slavery of the human person. It is abject poverty of the mind to swallow toxic wastes manufactured by others by resigning one’s ability to think straight. It is psychopathological! It was/is the greatest regression or buffoonery of mankind all through the ages; a wholesale subjugation to imperialism.

Where have all the miracles Jesus and the proclaimed saints of the Papacy been imprisoned that no victims of religious violence are protected miraculously from attacks from the children of the evil one? Where have all the miracle workers and television evangelists of Christendom disappeared to, such that none prays so that when tithe-paying members of their congregations are bombed, they do not succeed in their demonic machinations! Are there a paucity of signs & wonders and a drought of “Praise the Lord, Halleluiahs” or “Remain blessed in the Lord, Amen?”
Please wake up from your centuries of hypnotic slumbering and feeding on paediatric malnourishing milk produced, bottled, labelled and marketed worldwide by demonic clerics resident in Rome! It is a brand new day in Christendom! For how long will you walk blindfolded into hell by holding tenaciously to the bastardised version of Christianity corrupted by Roman paganism/ imperialism?

4. Where is the narrative of what Jesus did as an infant with his peers?
5. Where was Jesus from ages 12 to 30 that were not narrated in the Bible?
6. Was ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, which was his popular designation, a misnomer?
7. Was Nathaniel wrong in his; ‘Can Anything Good Come Out of Nazareth?
8. Was Luke not falsifying genealogical records and lying by grafting a royal descent from the lineage of David apparently to fulfil the prophecies?
9. Was the genealogical tree of Jesus traced by Matthew not more authentic than that of Luke who was neither an apostle nor a live participant?
10. Where was Joseph all through his son’s ministry and how did he disappear after the return from trekking to and fro Egypt. It is unfair for such a dutiful father and protector of the Infant Jesus to be so sidelined! When and how did he die and where was he buried?

These are but just a few of the questions that had/have and still agitate my mind since my teenage years in the minor seminary and adolescent years in the major seminary I attended. To date, no one has veritable answers for any of them? Can any of the glorified theologians or historians come to our rescue with the truth?

Was his popular designation ‘JESUS OF NAZARETH’, a misnomer? No one ever designated him “Jesus of Bethlehem” or “ Jesus of Jerusalem” nor “ Jesus of Galilee” although occasionally he was referred to as a “Nazarene” or a “Galilean”.

The question to find an answer to is this; What Brought About The False Genealogy Hoisted On Him By Luke Who Was Neither An Apostle Nor A Live-Witness Of His Times? “A stitch in time saves nine” was one of the earliest English proverbs I learnt in the 1950s when we attended Colonial Missionary Schools. I am now 64 years old.

Unfortunately, we have arrived at this computer age and our children have access to electronic encyclopaedias. They browse and surf the Internet. Can you find any evidence that the town of Nazareth existed prior to the Christian era.  I have been searching through ancient chronicles, but can't seem to find that town in any of them.

Cain (Qayin). The word Cain is usually associated with the Hebrew word (qana), "to acquire" or "to get." The derivation is based on the resemblance of sound, rather than on basic etymology. It might be called a play on words. The actual meaning of the word possibly came through the Arabic ("a lance" or "a smith"). Eve was overjoyed at the birth of her son. She exclaimed, "I have gotten a man." 2. Abel (Hebel). The name given to the second son indicates "a fleeting breath" or "a vapor." The cognate Accadian word aplu means son. Abel was the originator of pastoral life, while Cain followed his father in the pursuit of agriculture.

Genesis 4:1-2

Though God had cast our first parents out of paradise, he did not write them childless; but, to show that he had other blessings in store for them, he preserved to them the benefit of that first blessing of increase. Though they were sinners, nay, though they felt the humiliation and sorrow of penitents, they did not write themselves comfortless, having the promise of a Saviour to support themselves with. We have here, I. The names of their two sons.

1. Cain signifies possession; for Eve, when she bore him, said with joy, and thankfulness, and great expectation, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

2. Abel signifies vanity. When she thought she had obtained the promised seed in Cain, she was so taken up with that possession that another son was as vanity to her.

THEREFORE, WE CAN SAFELY CONCLUDE THAT EVE NAMED BOTH CAIN AND ABEL BECAUSE ADAM COULD NOT. HE DID NOT KNOW WHO WERE THE TRUE FATHERS OF BOTH, SO HE REFRAINED FROM DOING SO! TO CONFIRM THIS LET US ALSO SEE WHAT THE NET BIBLE HAS TO CONTRIBUTE TO MY THESIS.

The Story of Cain and Abel
4:1 Now1 the man had marital relations with2 his wife Eve, and she became pregnant3 and gave birth to Cain. Then she said, “I have created4 a man just as the Lord did!”5 4:2 Then she gave birth6 to his brother Abel.7 Abel took care of the flocks, while Cain cultivated the ground.8

4tn Here is another sound play (paronomasia) on a name. The sound of the verb קָנִיתִי (qaniti, “I have created”) reflects the sound of the name Cain in Hebrew (קַיִן, qayin) and gives meaning to it. The saying uses the Qal perfect of קָנָה (qanah). There are two homonymic verbs with this spelling, one meaning “obtain, acquire” and the other meaning “create” (see Gen 14:19, 22; Deut 32:6; Ps 139:13; Prov 8:22). The latter fits this context very well. Eve has created a man.
5tn Heb “with the Lord.” The particle אֶת־ (’et) is not the accusative/object sign, but the preposition “with” as the ancient versions attest. Some take the preposition in the sense of “with the help of” (see BDB 85 s.v. אֵת; cf. NEB, NIV, NRSV), while others prefer “along with” in the sense of “like, equally with, in common with” (see Lev 26:39; Isa 45:9; Jer 23:28). Either works well in this context; the latter is reflected in the present translation. Some understand אֶת־ as the accusative/object sign and translate, “I have acquired a man – the Lord.” They suggest that the woman thought (mistakenly) that she had given birth to the incarnate Lord, the Messiah who would bruise the Serpent’s head. This fanciful suggestion is based on a questionable allegorical interpretation of Gen 3:15 (see the note there on the word “heel”).

My dear readers, there is no smoke without fire! In Biafra, as in so many communities all over the world, it is the honour and duties of fathers to give names to their children. The Israelites are even more conscious of this culture. All through the Old Testament that had been their tradition. If a woman gives a name then the reasons why she was allowed to do so were/are clearly stated as in the cases of women who had been barren or suffered long periods in child birth labour pains. Let us now see the origin of my dissertation on this topic from “The Hottest Cake in the Universe”; “ANGELIC VERSES” I wrote in 2001!

CHAPTER  6A

A CONTINUATION OF “CAIN’S PATERNITY IN DISPUTE”.

Jude: Sorry my colleagues – I was dumbfounded during our last discourse and I treaded softly – in order to avoid errors and behold – that in itself – was the greatest error.
Jideofo: Enough – we are here – let’s go straight to business.  Kindly remind us where stopped, you Christian fanatic.
Jude: Kenez gave us some quotations to read and digest – and the most meaningful to me is – Genesis 5 – I read it through three times and I asked – was Seth the first son of Adam?
Kenez: Now you are coming home! – Did you note the CAPTION – is there any title given to Chapter 5?
Jideofo: Whatever brought in the concept into Kenez mind, I can’t decode – Hey you, Kenez – from where and since when did you start doubting the paternity of Cain?
Kenez: Good – have you even read Genesis, Chapter 4 verse 8 critically in GNB version?
  “Then Cain said to his brother Abel, “let’s go out in the fields.  When they were out in the fields, Cain turned on his brother and killed him.”  You need to sit down and think deep before you arrive at the following:

1. Who taught Cain how to plot an assassination?
2. Who or what gave him the courage to kill Abel?
3. Was Abel truly his biological brother – if so from where did he conceive the wickedness of heart to hurt his only sibling?
4. Did someone else tutor Cain? Definitely Adam could not have done so! --  So who did??.
5. Note, why did God even reprimand him in verse 6, and warn him in verse 7,ever before he took the action?

v.6. “Then the Lord said to Cain, “why are you angry?  Why that scowl on your face?
v.7 If you had done the right thing, you would be smiling, but because you have done evil, sin is crouching at your door, it wants to rule you, but you must overcome it.”    
Who could have been so clearly warned and yet go ahead to commit a novel crime – that no one else had ever thought of – no, not even brothers and sisters during the time of Sodom and Gomorrah?
Jideofo: Now, I can see clearly – what you are implying
Jude: Na so – always seeing – now translate, if you can see clearly.
Jideofo: Are you blind?  If Cain respected God as the Almighty Creator and his grandfather – he would have listened to his warning and taken the advice to overcome the sin that was crouching at his door.
Jude: Good – and so – what next?
Jideofo: He behaved like his progenitor – the snake that disvirgined Eve – yeah – yes – Cain must have been the result of Satan impregnating Eve first.
Kenez: Yeah, I knew, both of you would crack the nut – simple – moreover remember Adam was a novice – and even if he did learn anything – his gonads were immature at that point in time and he know nothing about ovulation dates, menses and menstruation cycles?
Jude: Hey, Kenez – super blasphemy – my ear drums will soon burst – stop it, heretic?
Jideofo: Who is a heretic?  You are the one – you heard God warn Cain and he refused to listen – Now, you his descendant have refused to listen to Kenez – give a good interpretation of the origin of murder as the second sin of the bible!
Jude: I am sorry – after Adam’s fall – sin took over control of human beings and Cain was the first human being reportedly born to Adam and Eve as a result of carnal knowledge – see Genesis 4 – verses 1 and 2, especially in the KJV – whose rendition is crystal clear!
v.1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and have Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
v.2 And she again leave his brother Abel.  And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but was a tiller of the ground.
Kenez: Who said, ”I have gotten a man from the Lord!”

Jude           No!, it was Adam..
Kenez:      Jude, so you are so daft that you can be looking at deceit and forgery and not recognize either??  That narrative stated in black and white, whether it was Eve or  Adam  “I have gotten a man from the Lord”  not from his loins.  To clarify this issue – revisit the quotation I gave you the other day – Genesis 5, verse 3, specifically:
KJV – Genesis 5 verse 3.
v. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called him Seth.
Are you still blindfolded by theological deceits and theories?  Why did the narrative emphasize the following:
1. Adam waited for one hundred and thirty years.
2. Why was the verb “begat” used as different from “knew Eve, his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain”?
3. Nothing can prove it better than – the double emphasis in verse 3 – “and begat” a son in his own likeness” and  “after his image.”
4. “Called” and “named” are dissimilar – especially when reasons for the names are added immediately:
Read that verse again:
“v.5 and she bore Cain and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.”  --KJV.
  Notice the reason for the name as stated by either Eve or Adam; not the addendum  by theoretical theologians! “I Have Gotten A Man By The Lord.”  - that  “from” was inserted by deceitful writers or forgers!!
 Now compare that translation with GNB version;.
Gen. 4, verse1: “Then Adam had intercourse with his wife, and she become pregnant.  She bore a son and said; “By the Lord’s help, I have acquired a son.” Yet another clearer verb denoting “assistance”
RSV – says; almost the same thing but let’s see its own translation…...
“Gen. 4 – verse 1:  Now Adam knew Eve, his wife and she conceived and bore a son, saying, “I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord”, Jude and Jideofo, my dear ones, – can’t you see “ a man gotten with the help of the Lord” – is different from the narrative in Chapter 5; entitled ”The Descendants of Adam.”  The earliest writers were not unaware of Cain and Abel before they went ahead to expunge the two names from the true descendants of Adam.  Moreover – Adam waited” an hundred and thirty years” to mature properly before he was credited with having a son, naturally – from his own gonads “ “in his own likeness” and as if that was not enough – it is doubly emphasized; “after his image”. Developmental psychology today confirms that the growth hormone estrogen ensures that females mature earlier than males that are controlled by the androgen hormone! Read scientific books, my man, not only the fables in the bible!!
Jude: My colleagues – this is too much for me – I need a recess – another fifteen minutes to see clearly.  Where am I, what have I gotten myself into? – Arguing with demonic demagogues and geniuses.
Jideofo: You are the demon here – since you see the clearly printed “WORD OF GOD” – and refuse to comprehend it by yourself – because you have been fed with manure from childhood … tied to the apron strings of Reverend Pastors and half-baked preachers!!

Now over to you, Jude, Who is LORD? in this passage…. The lover, of course, ”It’s Lucifer! the most handsome of the angels! The seducer, the tempter, the examiner, the rapist!!!
Kenez:        The issue here is;
1. If Cain and Abel were biological sons of Adam and Eve – why were their names eliminated in Chapter 5, and in The Gospel of Luke; Chapter 3, verses 21 – 37? When you get home today, compare them!
2. Finally, read 1st Chronicles, Chapter 1 verse1, and you will not be left in any doubt that both Cain and Abel were not sons of Adam, though Eve gave birth to them!!!

3.   If Cain and Abel were of same parents – could Cain ever have imagined killing Abel, his only sibling, junior brother?
For clarification read John Chapter 8, verses 43 – 47 and you will balance the equation.

4.   If Cain was Adam’s biological son, from whom did he get the genetic code for assassination?

Sorry – there were no genetical screening in those days when these happened.  If it were today both Cain and Abel could have benefited from medical science and truly known who their biological fathers were.  Sure they were Eve’s sons – but there is not a single thread of evidence to authenticate that they were Adam’s sons.  Even today – a pregnant woman can get married and later have intercourse with the official or legal husband and still bear a child resulting from an illicit love affair prior to the wedding ceremonies. Even in the bible – there were cases like that;

“That of the virgin mother!” Moreover, if Uriah had been alive – would David’s child not have answered Uriah’s name – whereas only Bathsheba would have known the true father of her child. Even at that, the child died – and to date, no one has told us how, where and when Absalom came into the picture.  Check 2 Samuel, chapters 11 and 12; and tell us why, after Bathsheba bore Solomon, David named him – but v.25 “The Lord loved the boy and commanded the prophet Nathan to name the boy Jedidah”… (the 8th son of David).

Jideofo: True my friend, but remember, Jude has appealed for a recess – let us grant him that request – whenever he has sorted himself out – we shall continue.
Jude: Am I sure of my own first child today? – may be I need to go to a teaching hospital to ascertain the paternity of all my children – chei – na waooh! how?
Jideofo: Things that women and gods do – na wah? They sleep with angels – and yet claim that they are our wives.  No one is ever sure these days – which children are biologically his, If you doubt me – read Genesis chapter 6 – verses 1 – to – 8 – which Kenez referred us to earlier.
Kenez: All I am saying is that we must put on our thinking caps! I have not stated that Adam is not the father of Cain.  The wonder is –No bible translator gave us details of any sexual intercourse in well documented and the miraculous births of:

1. ISSAC,the son of Abraham and Sarah,Gen:18,vv 9-15 & Gen: 21, vv 1-8.
2. SAMSON, the son of Manoah and Zorah, Judges: 13, read all the verses !                                          
3. JOHN the Baptist, the son of Zechariah and Elizabeth, Luke: 1, vv 5 -25 & vv 57 – 66. Note, that only Zorah behaved wisely.

The Virgin Mother of Jesus should have copied Zorah’s example and saved us the guesswork on who truly was the biological father of Jesus, the Christ!! Despite this transgression to buttress my assertion, do mothers in your culture have the right to name the babies born in a family? Even if in the cases of some Jewish figures in the bible it was so, why then does the same bible record with emphasis; ”Adam named his son ; Seth? And even it is permissible, from whose genetic code did Cain inherit the ability to plot and assassinate his own blood brother ???
Jude: So what you are saying is similar to the statement “BY THEIR FRUITS, YOU SHALL KNOW THEM!”  Mathew Chapter 12 , verse 33?
Jideofo: Wrong again – see Matt 7, verse 17 – that is the one appropriate for this discourse – read on till verse 20 where your quotation is lifted from, confused Christian!
Jude: How inconsistent you can be, Jideofo – so you know so much of the Bible, yet you pretend to be a heathen philosopher!
Kenez: Both of you are quarrelling over statements alluding to Cain’s parentage – but John, the Apostle in his first letter states it affirmatively.
1 John chapter 3, verse 12.
v.12 We must not be like Cain, he belonged to the Evil one, and murdered his own brother Abel!  Why did Cain murder him?  Because the things he himself did were wrong, but the things his brother did were right. ”Now the final nail on the coffin
Read LUKE 3 , vv 21 – 37 and you will see the correspondence between O.T.  &  the N.T. Cain and Abel were omitted in the genealogy of Jesus!, whereas Adam was specifically named “the son of God.” Why?  Again, Matthew had a genealogy that stopped at Abraham, Luke traced it further to Adam, and notice that Cain was again clearly omitted. These are not errors of omission but statements of the facts!! Can anyone tell us why an       overzealous translator or dogmatist decided to deceive the whole human race with the falsehood that Cain was a biological son of Adam, by inserting “sexual intercourse” in the narrative? Where else, in the whole bible did such a deceptive insertion occur???  If anyone knows, tell us!!!
Jideofo: Only God can save our generation then, if even at the beginning of creation, illegitimate sons had already started committing coup d’etats” – who can state “whose son”, his first child may be – until a paternity test is carried out … No one, ask Adam, Uriah or Joseph, the carpenter.
Kenez: Let’s disperse, jooh! You are both missing the point I’m raising.  Abel had a different super-biological father from the super-biological father of Cain – hence the differences in character, occupation and respect for their Grandfather GOD! not Adam!!! This was clearly demonstrated and tested by the sacrifices with their first fruits of their professions at harvest time!!  Cain’s true father is the destroyer, a killer, and a liar right from the beginning. Please go and read the gospel of John; Chapter 8,and you will see where Jesus exposed it all!!  And may be to resolve that, another ‘holy’ angel had to counter that with fathering or bearing Abel.  But quickly Cain’s father advised his own evil son to eliminate Abel and so populate the world with only his own evil genes, and to dates he still does!!! So to date we have evil children right from their birth of whom, King Solomon said were “crooked” and “no one can straighten out what God has made crooked”. See the Book of Proverbs for more.

My thesis therefore is; there are two species of mankind; the free ones -sons of Adam through Seth and the slaves -sons of Satan through Cain. Jesus, the Christ told us so in plain language. The grandchildren and descendants of the Snake are detailed in Genesis Chapter 4, verses 17-24, Enoch, Irad, Mehujael, Methushael, Lamech, the first polygamist, then Jabal, Tubal Cain.

THE ORIGINS OF ALL THE TREATISES ON RELIGION DATES BACK TO SEMINARY YEARS AT ONITSHA AND LATER ENUGU

At the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of one of the minor seminaries in Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, history was made when all the ‘Old Boys’ of the institution conferred titles on prominent members of their Alumni Association. This was one of the hilarious highlights of the events lined up to entertain the octogenarian Cardinals and Archbishops who came all that way from Rome, the capital of Roman Catholicism.

It was comical as some of the ‘famous & notorious boys’ during their schooling years as adolescents in the seminary were the butt of the jokes. To cut the long story short, some were ‘ordained’ “Rev. Fr. Echipus” meaning that ‘they were qualified candidates that never stayed long enough to get their papal ordinations, but have settled on being good husbands and exemplary ‘lay-priests’ in their various homes, families and communities!

This author was unanimously catapulted to the rank of “Rt. Rev Bishop Echipu”as objections were raised from the rostrum by his former students who were already bishops and one of them who protested was actually the newly installed Auxiliary Archbishop of the province! So, it was that he immediately shed his former teenage nickname of “Atom” and put on the new toga! The three bishops who ensured that their mentor/teacher got the deserved title topped the hilarious occasion by donating three bottles of champagne!

This event happened as far back as 1999 at All Hallows Seminary Onitsha that was founded in 1924. Unknown to most of the celebrants, the recipient was hurting inside. He had uncovered so many puerile dogmas and futile doctrines he considered born of pagan origins in Roman Mithraism! He had written down inspirations he got to call a press conference to expose the deceits. He was really going through the hardest trials of his Christian faith!

He was confused; should he publicly recant and risk being labelled an apostate or hide his head as an ostrich does in the sand forgetting that the massive body was still exposed to public glare? Or, in the alternative, should he continue to suffer under the canopy of being an exemplary ex-seminarian; the few good ones that pretended all was well with their once religious traditions and acquiesced to the imperial authority of Rome?
This dissertation answers the last ambiguity in a way that leaves no one in doubt as to where the Rt. Rev. Bishop is heading now. Enjoy his anxieties!

Chapter 1:

JESUS NEVER ENTHRONED HIMSELF AS GOD

Only the writer of the Epistle to the Hebrews captured the personality traits of Jesus conferred on him by the Almighty Father! In this opening chapter unlike every other book in the entire Bible, the narrative confirms my thesis that Jesus was/is the Son of God, elevated above every other created beings but never equal to the Supreme Being that created him and us! We do not show respect to the Father by equating him to his created, nor do we favour Jesus by setting him up against his Father.

Meditate on the bold phrases in this excerpt and really think them over. Can an ambassador be equal to the President of his home country? Can one who was granted special powers ever be equal to the One who gave him the powers in the first place? The answer is definitely; NO!

This passage states the statuses and special favours God, the Almighty Father of all of us bestowed on Jesus for a purpose! That is why he was able to stand all the temptations and triumph over the devil in every way even ‘death on the cross.’ My hope is that Christians should learn to worship only God the Father as Jesus enjoined us to and conscientiously respect him as the Son of God for accepting to die to save mankind!

Hebrews 1
1:1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"?
6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him.”
7 In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire."

I have said it on several occasions that anyone who is very serious with authentic religion; obedience to the natural laws of the Almighty Father, and tenacious about true worship of Him with works of charity, mercy and forgiveness can aspire to Sainthood, just as Jesus did to earn Christhood! Jesus was not born the ‘Son of God’ but was adopted by the Almighty Father of us all at his baptism.

Tell me, was Jesus not a descendant from the family root of King David as prophesied in the OT? Even in the psalms credited to David, is the evidence not clear? He received a special gift of anointing by the ‘Holy Spirit that came down in the form of a dove and rested on him’, as was reported by John, the Baptist, his maternal cousin!

Matt 3:13-17
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John.
14 But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptised by you, and do you come to me?"
15 Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness." Then John consented.
16 As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

This is the truth of the matter as is again clearly stated by Peter, the head of the apostles during his inaugural speech in defence of the charge of drunkenness levied at the apostles on the day of first ever Pentecost;

Acts 10:37&38
37 You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached—
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

So, ‘Emmanuel’ the name the angel gave before his conception was changed to ‘Christ’ at this baptism! This is still done to date in churches! So, what is the encyclopaedic definition of “Christ”; a Greek translation?

“CHRIST”, is a Greek term found in the Greek version of the Old Testament (see Bible), the Septuagint, translating the Hebrew verb “mâshakh”, meaning, “to anoint.” In early Israel, the custom of anointing signified the endowment of the person with the qualification for exalted office. The term Christ was applied not only to priests, but also to kings, prophets, and patriarchs. In time, the term came to mean the redeemer and restorer of the Jewish nation. In the New Testament, Christ, as a common noun and as a proper name, generally refers to Jesus of Nazareth (see Jesus Christ).[1]

This is my analysis of the contentious matter regarding the divinity ascribed to him in most Christian communities.
The word ‘Christ’ is a term that has historically been applied to kings, prophets and patriarchs in early Israel long before Jesus was born.
The truth therefore is that Jesus was born of Joseph and a virgin mother, Mary. He was later adopted by the Most High as his ‘Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, listen to him’!
· This fact does not reduce his honour and position as the first-born. Rather it emphasises the fact that anyone that works hard by imitating him will also earn God’s adoption. If you have been assigned a divine ministry as Jesus was, then work hard at it and follow it through!
His predecessors who could have earned the title were not prudent, obedient nor tenacious and therefore failed by the way side due to human concupiscence. A few leaders, prophets and judges of the old dispensation like Patriarch Enoch (Gen 5), Joshua and Prophet Elijah (Kings 7) passed!

Moses failed because of his quick temper and doubtfully striking the rock twice erratically rather than once.
Samson did not heed the instructions about wine and women before his birth; rather he recklessly slept with prostitutes and later married against God’s instruction.
Saul disobeyed the Almighty who made him king as he thought that God preferred sacrifices rather obedience. He should have obeyed the instructions of the Almighty God to the letter.
David disappointed the Most High when he committed adultery and complicated it with a pre-meditated murder.
Solomon, the first to be adopted by the God of the Israelites was an ingrate. He was too romantic, had insatiable lust for sex, married foreign women and worshipped their gods and so openly violated God’s covenant with his father David.

Judges 13
13:1 Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, so the LORD delivered them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years.
2 A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was sterile and remained childless.
3 The angel of the LORD appeared to her and said, "You are sterile and childless, but you are going to conceive and have a son.
4 Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean,
5 because you will conceive and give birth to a son. No razor may be used on his head, because the boy is to be a Nazirite, set apart to God from birth, and he will begin the deliverance of Israel from the hands of the Philistines."
6 Then the woman went to her husband and told him, "A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I didn't ask him where he came from, and he didn't tell me his name.
7 But he said to me, 'You will conceive and give birth to a son. Now then, drink no wine or other fermented drink and do not eat anything unclean, because the boy will be a Nazirite of God from birth until the day of his death.'"
8 Then Manoah prayed to the LORD: "O Lord, I beg you, let the man of God you sent to us come again to teach us how to bring up the boy who is to be born."
9 God heard Manoah, and the angel of God came again to the woman while she was out in the field; but her husband Manoah was not with her.
10 The woman hurried to tell her husband, "He's here! The man who appeared to me the other day!"
11 Manoah got up and followed his wife. When he came to the man, he said, "Are you the one who talked to my wife?" "I am," he said.
12 So Manoah asked him, "When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule for the boy's life and work?"
13 The angel of the LORD answered, "Your wife must do all that I have told her.
14 She must not eat anything that comes from the grapevine, nor drink any wine or other fermented drink nor eat anything unclean. She must do everything I have commanded her."
15 Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, "We would like you to stay until we prepare a young goat for you."
16 The angel of the LORD replied, "Even though you detain me, I will not eat any of your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering, offer it to the LORD." (Manoah did not realise that it was the angel of the LORD.)
17 Then Manoah enquired of the angel of the LORD, "What is your name, so that we may honour you when your word comes true?"
18 He replied, "Why do you ask my name? It is beyond understanding."
19 Then Manoah took a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the LORD. And the LORD did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched:
20 As the flame blazed up from the altar towards heaven, the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame. Seeing this, Manoah and his wife fell with their faces to the ground.
21 When the angel of the LORD did not show himself again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realised that it was the angel of the LORD.
22 "We are doomed to die!" he said to his wife. "We have seen God!"
23 But his wife answered, "If the LORD had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and grain offering from our hands, nor shown us all these things or now told us this."
24 The woman gave birth to a boy and named him Samson. He grew and the LORD blessed him,
25 and the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him while he was in Mahaneh Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

If only Samson had listened and obeyed his parents, could he not have been renowned as a Saviour of his nation? He failed! For now, let us get a biblical support for my assertion that every believer qualifies for the title; ‘Christ’ right from birth! You can attain the level of sanctity for becoming adopted. In other words, we are all equipped to earn ‘Christhood’! Turn to;

Hebrews 5

5:1 Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.
2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.
3 This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people.
4 No one takes this honour upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was.
5 So Christ also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
"You are my Son; today I have become your Father."
6 And he says in another place,
"You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."
7 During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
8 Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered
9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.
12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!
13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

If that long explanation does not satisfy your fanatical position, then follow it up with the very next chapter! If you do believe that ‘the whole scripture is the word of God’ and is for our edification, then believe what you read;


Hebrews 6

6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,
2 instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
3 And God permitting, we will do so.
4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age,
6 if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.
8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are confident of better things in your case-things that accompany salvation.
10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.
12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,
14 saying, "I will surely bless you and give you many descendants”.
15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.
16 Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.
17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.
18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged.
19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
20 where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

It is reported that Solomon was also adopted by the Most High. Go back and read all about his choice by the Almighty as the one to build him a temple. Many other prophets of old had performed miracles that equalled those of Jesus yet they did not earn the title, the Messiah or ‘Christ’; so it is left for us to decipher what made Jesus so exceptional that he was the only one fit to be adopted by the Father as; ‘This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear you him’. I ASKED AN IRISH PRIEST who was our religion teacher in Class One at a junior seminary " WHO TAUGHT CAIN HOW TO PLOT AND KILL HIS ONLY BROTHER ABEL? That was in 1962, may be you had never been born then.

HE PROMISED TO FIND OUT AND ANSWER ME LATER! He never did and the Nigeria-Biafra war ensured he left our shores without seeing me again. MY INQUISITIVE MIND SUBMERGED IT INTO THE SUBCONSCIOUS.

However in 1992 while on a long journey of 700 kilometres from Maiduguri to Onitsha THE HOLY SPIRIT GAVE ME THE MOST SATISFYING ANSWER. I lacked the courage to tell anyone, no, not even my own brothers, sisters or parents for fear of EXCOMMUNICATION or being labelled AN APOSTATE. I kept pondering on it till I left the seminary, read till I had a total of three Ph.D.s before I found the courage to pen and post them for idiots like you to read.
